home after celebrating the festival in the hometowns. Sources said hundreds of people came to local bus terminals, rail stations and launch terminals from their native homes more comfortably than the previous years. But they suffer a lot to get vehicles there to come back home, as the bus and auto-rickshaw services in the city were not available due to the Eid holidays. Huge crowds were seen on Sunday at three bus terminals Gabtali, Sayedabad and Mohakhali Sadarghat launch terminal and Kamalapur railway station. Many people were coming back to their homes in the city after celebrating the Eid festival with their families, relatives and well-wishers. Sources said thousands of people were seen coming back to the capital by bus, launch, train and even car. With their return, the capital started being crowded again. The office-goers have started moving to their workplaces in Dhaka and Chittagong. But many capital-bound passengers alleged that they had also to pay extra fare to transport workers on their return journey. Besides, return tickets were not available. Black-marketers are also creating artificial ticket crisis to realize additional fare. Many passengers alleged that an anarchic situation is still prevailing in the transport sector. In the wake of the festival, a special arrangement of traffic was carried out to make their journey safe. Law-enforcers took steps to ensure smooth traffic on highways and roads ahead of and after the Eid.
