As he made no response from repeated calls, the family members broke open the door and found him hanging from the ceiling, he said. They brought him to Chittagong Medical College Hospital where doctors declared him dead, he said. Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC-West) Tanvir Arafath of Chittagong Metropolitan Police (CMP) said the body bore several marks of injury on the head. Family members claimed that Hasib committed suicide. Police, picked up the deceaseds wife, mother-in-law and brother-in-law for interrogation, he added.
