Addl district judge found dead at Ctg home:Daily Sun

Police pick up wife, mother-in-law and brother-in-law of Additional District Judge Kazi Abdul Hasib Mohammad Sayeed, who died mysteriously at his house in the port city’s Mollapara area on Tuesday evening. CHITTAGONG: An additional district judge of Naogaon district was found dead in his house at Mollapara in the port city on Tuesday evening. The deceased is Kazi Abdul Hasib Mohammad Sayeed, 45, a
resident of Mollapara in the city’s Halishahar area. Officer-in-Charge of Halishahar police station Shahjahan Kabir said Hasib, additional district judge of Naogaon, was residing with his second wife in the port city. The OC quoting family sources said Hasib had been locked in an altercation with his wife in the afternoon and at one stage, he went to a room and locked the door from inside. As he made no response from repeated calls, the family members broke open the door and found him hanging from the ceiling, he said. They brought him to Chittagong Medical College Hospital where doctors declared him dead, he said. Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC-West) Tanvir Arafath of Chittagong Metropolitan Police (CMP) said the body bore several marks of injury on the head. Family members claimed that Hasib committed suicide. Police, picked up the deceased’s wife, mother-in-law and brother-in-law for interrogation, he added.
